If you are driving, start from the center of Mount Fuji. Head southeast on Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway) towards Susono. After approximately 20 minutes, take the Susono exit. Merge onto Route 246, and continue straight for about 5 kilometers. Follow the signs for Chabatake, which will be located on your right side. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Chabatake by public transport, begin by taking a train from Fujikyu Highland Station to Shin-Fuji Station. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Shin-Fuji Station, transfer to bus number 20 heading towards Susono. It will take about 15 minutes to reach the Chabatake bus stop. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to Chabatake, which will be straight ahead.
