Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by getting onto Route 139 or Route 358. Follow the signs towards Fujikawaguchiko. Once in the Fujikawaguchiko area, look for signs directing you to Shoji. The Fuji Fuketsu Cave is located at Shoji, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0336. There is parking available near the cave, but it may incur a small fee (around 500 yen). If you're using a GPS, input the coordinates 35.450964, 138.652375 to reach the exact location.

• Public Transportation - Train and Bus

  To reach Fuji Fuketsu Cave via public transportation, start by taking a train to Fujikawaguchiko Station. From Tokyo, you can take the JR Chuo Line to Otsuki Station, and then transfer to the Fujikyu Railway to Fujikawaguchiko Station. Once you arrive at Fujikawaguchiko Station, you can take a local bus (Fujikyu Bus) towards Shoji. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as there may be limited services. Once you get off at the Shoji stop, it's a short walk to the cave.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Fujikawaguchiko Station to Fuji Fuketsu Cave. The taxi ride will take around 20 minutes and cost approximately 3,000 to 4,000 yen depending on traffic.
