    Car

    If you are traveling by car, you can take the Chuo Expressway from Tokyo. Exit at the Fujiyoshida Interchange and follow the signs towards Fujiyoshida City. Once you are in the city, navigate to 5 Chome-6-1 Shinnishihara. The museum is located on your left as you approach. Parking is available on-site, but be sure to check for any fees, which are typically around 500 yen for a few hours.

    Public Transportation (Train + Bus)

    If you prefer public transportation, take the JR Chuo Line from Tokyo to Otsuki Station. From Otsuki Station, transfer to the Fujikyu Railway and take the Fujisan Limited Express to Fujisan Station. Once you arrive at Fujisan Station, you can take the Fujikyu Bus (Route 2) towards Fujiyoshida and get off at the 'Fujiyama Museum' bus stop. The museum is just a short walk from the bus stop. The total cost for this journey will be approximately 2,500 yen to 3,000 yen one way, depending on the train and bus you take.

    Public Transportation (Direct Bus)

    An alternative option is to take a direct bus from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo to Fujiyoshida City. The highway bus departs regularly and takes about 2.5 hours. Once you reach Fujiyoshida Station, you can take a local taxi to the Fujiyama Museum, which will cost around 1,000 yen. The bus fare is about 2,000 yen one way.
