Getting There

Car
From central Mount Fuji, head south on Route 1 towards Atami. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Atami. Once in Atami, follow the signs to Izusan. Take a right turn onto Izusan Street (伊豆山通り) and continue for about 2 kilometers. You will see the Izusan Shrine on your left at 708-1 Izusan. There is parking available nearby.

Train
From the Mount Fuji area, take the Fujikyu Railway to Otsuki Station. Transfer to the JR Chuo Line and travel to Atami Station. Upon arrival at Atami Station, exit the station and catch the Izusan Bus (伊豆山行き) from the bus terminal outside the station. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes, and you should get off at the Izusan Shrine stop, which is just a short walk from the shrine entrance.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Mount Fuji to Izusan Shrine. Simply tell the driver 'Izusan Jinja' (伊豆山神社).
