Car
If you're driving, start on the Fujikyu Highway (Route 139) and head south towards Shizuoka. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit towards Shimizu Ward. Continue straight until you reach the intersection of Route 52. Turn left onto Route 52 and follow the signs for Zo. After about 10 minutes, keep an eye out for the Ryugenji temple, which will be on your left at 114 Zo, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Ryugenji by public transportation, take the Fujikyu Railway from Kawaguchiko Station to Fujisan Station. From Fujisan Station, transfer to the Shizuoka Railway and travel towards Shizuoka Station. Get off at Shimizu Station. Once at Shimizu Station, exit and look for bus number 20 towards Zo. The bus will take you directly to Zo. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Zo stop, and Ryugenji will be a short 5-minute walk from there, located at 114 Zo, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka.
