Getting There

Public Transportation

If you are starting from Tokyo Station, take the Marunouchi Line to Akasaka-Mitsuke Station. At Akasaka-Mitsuke, transfer to the Chiyoda Line and head towards Yoyogi-Uehara. Get off at the next station, which is Kitasenju. From Kitasenju, take the Tobu Skytree Line to Minami-Senju, then transfer to the Hibiya Line, heading towards Nakameguro. Get off at Kasuga Station. From Kasuga Station, it’s a 15-minute walk to Koishikawa Botanical Garden. Follow the signs towards Bunkyo City, and after crossing the road, you will find the entrance at 3 Chome-7-1 Hakusan.
Car

If you are driving, start by getting onto the Shuto Expressway from your current location. Depending on where you are in Musashi, you may need to follow the signs to Route 4. Once on Route 4, follow the signs for Bunkyo City. Take the exit for Hakusan, and follow Hakusan Dori until you reach the intersection with 3 Chome. Turn left onto 3 Chome and you will find Koishikawa Botanical Garden on your right at 3 Chome-7-1. There is limited parking available nearby, so plan to arrive early.
Public Transportation

From Shinjuku Station, take the JR Chuo Line to Ochanomizu Station. Transfer to the Sobu Line and travel towards Narashino. Get off at Iidabashi Station. From Iidabashi, take the Toei Oedo Line to Kasuga Station. After exiting the station, it’s approximately a 15-minute walk to the garden. Head south on Hakusan Dori and follow the directions to 3 Chome-7-1 Hakusan. The entrance will be on your left.
Public Transportation

If you're near Ueno Park, you can catch the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line from Ueno Station to Asakusa Station. At Asakusa, transfer to the Toei Asakusa Line and head towards Nishi-Magome. Get off at Oshiage Station, then transfer to the Hanzomon Line and go to Hanzomon Station. From Hanzomon, take a taxi to Koishikawa Botanical Garden, which is about a 10-minute ride away.
