If you are driving from central Musashi, take Route 16 (also known as the Yokohama Highway) heading towards Hachioji. Once you arrive, you will find a parking area near the entrance to the hiking trail leading to the falls. Parking fees may apply, typically around 500 yen.

To reach Kongo Falls using public transportation, start by taking the JR Chuo Line from Musashi to Hachioji Station. This train ride takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Hachioji Station, transfer to the Keio Line and take the train towards Takao. Get off at Kongo Station, which is about a 15-minute ride. From Kongo Station, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes to reach Kongo Falls. Follow the signs or use a navigation app to help guide you along the trail leading to the falls. Be sure to check the train schedules as they may vary, and plan for a round trip fare of about 800 yen.
