Car
If you're driving, start by navigating to Matsuomachi Hirayama, Nishi Ward, Kumamoto, 861-5282. From the center of Musashi, take Route 3 heading south. Continue on Route 3 for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the junction with Route 57. Merge onto Route 57 and follow the signs for Kumamoto City. After around 10 minutes, take the exit toward Matsuomachi Hirayama. Once you exit, follow local signs to Reigando Cave, which is about 5 minutes from the exit. Parking is available near the cave entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Reigando Cave using public transportation, start by taking a train from Musashi Station to Kumamoto Station. This journey takes about 30 minutes. From Kumamoto Station, head to the bus terminal located in front of the station. Take the 'Matsuomachi Line' bus towards Matsuomachi Hirayama. The bus ride will take approximately 35 minutes. Get off at the 'Reigando' bus stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the cave entrance. Ensure you check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary, especially on weekends.
