Car
If you're driving from central Mutsu, head northwest on Route 279 towards Sai. Follow the signs for Sai, which will lead you through the beautiful coastal roads. Once you reach the Sai area, look for signs directing you to the Sai Village Straits Museum, located at 〒039-4711 Aomori, Shimokita District, Sai, Osai−112 番地, inside the Tsugaru Strait Cultural Facility (津軽海峡文化館アルサス) on the second floor. There is parking available at the museum, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation
From Mutsu Station, take the bus to Sai. Buses to Sai are available several times a day; check the local bus schedule for exact timings. The ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Sai, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the Sai Village Straits Museum. Head northeast from the bus stop, and follow the signs towards the Tsugaru Strait Cultural Facility. The museum is on the second floor of this facility.
