Getting There

  • Subway

    From Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line (Yellow Line) towards Fujigaoka. Ride for 3 stops and get off at Sakae Station. Transfer to the Meijo Line (Purple Line) at Sakae Station, heading towards Nagoya Castle. After 2 stops, get off at Shiyakusho Station. From Shiyakusho Station, it's a 10-minute walk to Nagoya Castle. Exit the station and head west towards the castle, following the signs.

    From Nagoya Station, head to the bus terminal outside the station. Look for the Meitetsu Bus stop and take Bus No. 14 or 15. The bus will take you to Nagoya Castle. The ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Nagoya Castle stop and walk straight for a minute to reach the castle entrance.

    If you are close to the city center, you can walk to Nagoya Castle. Start from the Nagoya City Science Museum as your reference point.
