Oasis 21: A Modern Marvel in Nagoya

Getting There

• Subway

  If you are starting from Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line (light blue line) towards Fujigaoka. Ride for 4 stops and get off at Sakae Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for Exit 1. Upon exiting, you will be on the main street (Sakae). Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see Oasis 21 on your left, an impressive glass structure with a spaceship-like design.

• Bus

  From Nagoya Station, you can also take a bus. Head to the Nagoya Station Bus Terminal and take bus number 16 towards Sakae. The ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the Sakae stop, which is a short walk from Oasis 21. After getting off the bus, walk towards the large glass structure you can see ahead. It should take you around 5 minutes to reach Oasis 21.

• Walking

  If you are in the Sakae area, Oasis 21 is easily accessible by walking. Simply head towards the main street in Sakae and look for the large glass dome structure. It is located at 1 Chome-11-1 Higashisakura, which is about a 10-minute walk from the Sakae subway station. Just keep walking straight and you will find it.

• Streetcar

  If you are near Nagoya Castle, you can take the Nagoya City Streetcar (Tsurumai Line) from Shiyakusho Station. Ride towards Kamejima and get off at the Sakae stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Oasis 21. Head north towards the large glass structure that should be visible as you walk.
