Subway
If you are near Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line (Yellow Line) towards Fujigaoka. Get off at the Sakae Station (about 5 minutes). From Sakae Station, transfer to the Meijo Line (Purple Line) and head towards Nagoya Castle. Get off at Shiyakusho Station, which is just a 2-minute ride. Once you exit Shiyakusho Station, take Exit 4, and you will see the entrance to Nagoya Castle about a 5-minute walk ahead.

From Nagoya Station, you can take the City Bus (Route 2 or Route 3) directly to Nagoya Castle. Board the bus at the Nagoya Station Bus Terminal located on the Taiko-dori side. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Nagoya Castle bus stop, and you will be right at the entrance of the castle.

If you are already in the vicinity of Sakae or Osu areas, you can walk to Nagoya Castle. From Sakae, head north on the main road (Nagoya 1 Chome) until you reach the intersection at Nishiki. Continue straight for about 15-20 minutes, following the signs to Nagoya Castle. From Osu, head north on Osu Street, then turn left at the Sakae intersection and continue straight until you reach the castle grounds.
