Car
If you're driving, start from the Naoshima ferry terminal. Head northeast on Route 2 and follow the signs towards the Naoshima Island road. After about 5 km, take a ferry to Shodoshima Island. Once you arrive at Shodoshima, continue on Route 436. After approximately 10 km, turn right onto Umaki Road. Hishio-no-sato Museum of Contemporary Art will be on your left at 36-2 Umaki, Shodoshima, Shozu District, Kagawa 761-4426.

From the Naoshima ferry terminal, take a ferry to Shodoshima Island. Ferries depart regularly, and the trip takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Shodoshima, take the local bus towards Umaki. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Umaki stop, and from there, it is a short walk to Hishio-no-sato Museum of Contemporary Art, located at 36-2 Umaki.
