Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from any location on Naoshima Island, head towards the Naoshima Ferry Terminal. From there, take a ferry to Takamatsu Port on Shikoku Island. The ferry ride takes about 50 minutes. Once at Takamatsu Port, follow signs to Route 30 and then Route 11 towards Shodoshima. Continue on Route 11 until you reach Kankakei National Park, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from Takamatsu. There are parking facilities available near the park entrance. Note that ferry fares may vary, so check the current rates before your journey.

    Start your journey at the Naoshima Ferry Terminal and take a ferry to Takamatsu Port. After disembarking, head to Takamatsu Station. From there, take a train on the JR Seto-Ohashi Line towards Okayama. Get off at Shodo-shima Station. From Shodo-shima Station, take a local bus heading towards Kankakei National Park. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited.
