If you're traveling by car, first head to Tamano Port. From anywhere in Naoshima Island, take the ferry from Miyanoura Port (the main port on Naoshima) to Takamatsu. This ferry ride takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately 1,200 JPY one way. Once you arrive at Takamatsu, you will need to drive to Tamano Port, which is about a 30-minute drive (approximately 25 km). Follow Route 30 and then Route 82 towards Tamano. Look for signs to the port, where you can park your car.

Public Transportation to Tamano Port
If you're using public transportation, take the ferry from Miyanoura Port on Naoshima Island to Takamatsu, which takes around 20 minutes and costs approximately 1,200 JPY. Once you arrive at Takamatsu, you'll need to transfer to Takamatsu Station. From there, take a local train (Kotohira Line) to the nearest station to Tamano, which is about 30 minutes away.
