Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from central Nara, take Route 24 towards Osaka. Follow the signs for the Kinki Expressway (Hanshin Expressway) and exit at Umeda. From Umeda, follow the signs to Nakanoshima. The Nakanoshima Rose Garden is located at 1 Chome-1 Nakanoshima, Kita Ward, Osaka, 530-0005. There is a parking fee, so be prepared to pay approximately ¥300 for an hour.

    If you prefer public transportation, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Nara Station to Yamato-Saidaiji Station. From there, transfer to the JR Yamatoji Line and travel to Osaka Station.
