Car

There is parking available at the base of the forest. The drive should take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public Transportation

From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kasuga-taisha Honden Station. This journey takes about 15 minutes. From the station, it is a 15-minute walk to the entrance of Mt. Kasuga Primeval Forest. Follow the signs leading to Kasuga-taisha Shrine, as the forest is adjacent to the shrine.
