    Getting There

    Bus

    From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus bound for 'Gojo' (五條行き). The bus departs regularly, approximately every 30 minutes. Ride for about 45 minutes and get off at the 'Yushio' (湯塩) bus stop. From the bus stop, walk for about 10 minutes in the direction of the Kaki Persimmon Museum. You will see signs leading to the museum along the way.

    Train and Bus

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line train to 'Kashihara Jingu-mae' Station (かしはら神宮前駅). Transfer to the Kintetsu Yoshino Line and take the train towards 'Yoshinoguchi' (吉野口) Station. Get off at 'Gojo' (五條) Station. From Gojo Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus bound for 'Yushio' (湯塩) and get off at the 'Yushio' bus stop. The Kaki Persimmon Museum is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

    Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Nara city. Head towards the Nara Park area and follow the signs leading to Gojo. The distance is approximately 20 kilometers and will take you about an hour and a half cycling. Once you reach Gojo, look for signs to the Kaki Persimmon Museum.
