Getting There

Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Yoshino. This train will take you directly to Yoshino Station. The journey is approximately 40 minutes long. Once you arrive at Yoshino Station, exit the station and follow the signs for the Yoshino Cable Car. The cable car station is a short walk from the train station. Take the cable car up to the Yoshinoyama station, which is the closest point to Kimpu Jinja.

After arriving at Yoshinoyama Station via the cable car, exit the station and head towards the path leading to Kimpu Jinja. The shrine is located about a 10-minute walk from the cable car station. Follow the signs that will guide you through the beautiful wooded area up to the shrine. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

Bus
From Nara, you can also take a bus from Nara Bus Terminal to Yoshino. The bus ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Yoshino, you can take a local bus to the Yoshinoyama area. After getting off at the nearest bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Kimpu Jinja. Just follow the signs pointing towards the shrine.
