Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Osaka Namba Station. This journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Osaka Namba Station, transfer to the Osaka Metro. Take the Midosuji Line towards Esaka and get off at Umeda Station. From Umeda, follow the signs to the Osaka Station. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Nakanoshima Park.
Bus
Leave from Nara Park, catch the Nara Kotsu bus to Osaka. The bus ride will take about an hour. Get off at the 'Nakanoshima' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of Nakanoshima Park.
Walking
If you are staying within central Nara, you can walk to the nearest bus station, Nara Bus Terminal, and take a bus to Osaka. Once you arrive in Osaka, walk towards the river, and follow the riverbank to reach Nakanoshima Park. This will take a considerable amount of time, roughly 2 hours, but you will enjoy beautiful views along the way.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any point in Nara directly to Nakanoshima Park. The ride will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Inform the driver to take you to '1 Chome-1 Nakanoshima, Kita Ward, Osaka'.
