Getting There

  • Train

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Osaka Namba. Get off at Osaka Namba Station (about a 45-minute ride). Once you arrive at Osaka Namba, exit the station and head towards the Namba City shopping complex. Follow the signs to the subway and take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line towards Honmachi. Get off at Shinsaibashi Station. Exit the station at Exit 1, which will lead you to the main street. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Yotsubashi area. The Site of Yotsubashi will be on your left.

  • Bus

    From Nara Kotsu Bus Terminal, take the bus No. 70 towards Osaka Station and get off at Osaka Station (approximately 50 minutes). From Osaka Station, you can either walk or take a subway. If walking, head south through the underground shopping area to Nankinmachi, then follow the signs to the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line. Take the subway towards Shinsaibashi Station. Exit at Shinsaibashi and walk for about 10 minutes towards the Yotsubashi area, where you will find the Site of Yotsubashi on your left.

    If you are already in the central area of Nara, a good option is to walk to Nara Park and then head towards the Kintetsu Nara Station. From there, follow the instructions for Train travel to Osaka as described. The walking distance to Kintetsu Nara Station is approximately 20 minutes.
