Train
From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Osaka Uehommachi Station (about 45 minutes). Once you arrive at Osaka Uehommachi Station, transfer to the Osaka Loop Line and travel to Tennoji Station (about 10 minutes). After arriving at Tennoji Station, exit the station and walk south for about 10 minutes to reach Tennoji Zoo at 1-108 Chausuyamacho.
Bus
From Nara Station, board the Nara City Bus bound for Osaka. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the Tennoji Park bus stop. From there, walk to the entrance of Tennoji Zoo, which is located within Tennoji Park.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi directly from your location in Nara to Tennoji Zoo. This will take about 40 minutes depending on traffic. Just provide the driver with the address: 1-108 Chausuyamacho, Tennoji Ward, Osaka, 543-0063.
