    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. Get off at Kyoto Station, which takes about 45 minutes. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR Nara Line and take the train to Tofukuji Station, which is a short ride. After exiting Tofukuji Station, walk for about 10 minutes in the direction of Tofuku-ji Temple.

    From Nara City, head to the Nara Bus Terminal and take the Kyoto City Bus #205 or #206 towards Kyoto Station. After approximately 50 minutes, get off at the Tofukuji Temple bus stop. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop.

    If you are in central Nara, you can walk to Tōfuku-ji Temple, which is about 45 minutes away. Start at Nara Park and head north towards Sanjo-dori. From there, walk along Sanjo-dori until you reach the Kamo River. Cross the river and continue straight until you reach Tofuku-ji Temple.
