Car
If you are driving, start from central Nikko and head north on Route 119. Follow the signs for 'Rin'nōji' as you approach the temple area. The drive takes about 10 minutes. There is parking available near the temple, which may incur a small fee (around 500 yen). Once you park, the temple is a short walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
From Nikko Station, take the Tōbu bus bound for 'Rin'nōji' (Rinnoji Temple). The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes and costs around 400 yen. Disembark at the 'Rin'nōji' stop. The temple is just a short walk from the bus stop, clearly marked with signs.
