Car
If you're driving, head southeast on Route 121 from central Nikko. Follow the signs for Tategoto Falls. The drive takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in the Fujihara area, look for parking areas near the falls. Please note that some parking may incur a fee, typically around 500 yen.
Public Transportation
Take the Tobu Bus from Nikko Station (bus stop No. 2) towards 'Fujihara'. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Fujihara' stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Tategoto Falls. Follow the signs along the walking path leading to the falls. The bus fare is around 600 yen one way.
