    If you're driving, start from the center of Oki and head towards the Oki Ferry Terminal. Follow Route 9 heading northeast until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Koto City, which takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Koto City, follow the signs to Tokiwa. Merge onto Route 357 and continue straight. After about 10 minutes, you will see Basho Memorial Hall on your right at 1 Chome-6-3 Tokiwa.

    If you're using public transportation, begin at the Oki Bus Terminal. Take the bus to Oki Ferry Terminal (the bus frequency is every 30 minutes). Board the ferry to Koto City, which takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival in Koto City, you can either take a local bus or a taxi to reach Basho Memorial Hall. If you choose the local bus, look for the bus heading towards Tokiwa and get off at the Tokiwa stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Basho Memorial Hall, which will be on your right.
