Car
If you are driving from Naha, take the Okinawa Expressway (Route 58) north towards Kunigami. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once you reach Kunigami, follow the signs to Cape Hedo. You will drive through scenic areas and may want to stop at some viewpoints along the way. Upon arriving at Cape Hedo, there is parking available. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 500 yen.
Public Transportation
To reach Cape Hedo by public transport, you can take a bus from Naha to Kunigami. Look for the bus service that operates from Naha Bus Terminal to Kunigami. The trip will take about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Kunigami, you will need to transfer to a local bus that goes to Cape Hedo. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. The local bus fare to Cape Hedo is typically around 400 yen.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Oki. This option is more expensive, with fares ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 yen depending on your starting point. Make sure to confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey. Taxis are convenient as they will take you directly to Cape Hedo without needing to transfer.
