If you're driving, start by heading onto Route 482 from your current location in Oki. Follow the signs for Oki Airport and then take Route 9 towards the ferry terminal. After reaching the ferry terminal, board a ferry to Shimonoseki. Once you arrive in Shimonoseki, take Route 2 and continue towards the Kanmon Bridge. Cross the bridge and merge onto the Sanyo Expressway. Continue until you reach the Tokyo metropolitan area. Follow signs to Sumida City. Once in Sumida City, navigate to 2 Chome-3-25 Yokoami, where the Great Kanto Earthquake Memorial Museum is located. Look for parking nearby as street parking can be limited.

To reach the Great Kanto Earthquake Memorial Museum via public transport, first make your way to Oki's ferry terminal and take a ferry to Shimonoseki. Once you arrive in Shimonoseki, take the train from Shimonoseki Station to Hakata Station. From Hakata Station, transfer to the Shinkansen (bullet train) towards Tokyo. After arriving at Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Sobu Line towards Chiba and get off at Ryogoku Station. From Ryogoku Station, it's a short 15-minute walk to the museum at 2 Chome-3-25 Yokoami, Sumida City. Follow the signs towards the Sumida River and then navigate towards Yokoami Street.
