If you are driving, start by getting onto Route 58, which is the main highway that connects many parts of Okinawa. Follow Route 58 northbound towards Motobu. After approximately 60 kilometers, you will come closer to the town of Motobu. Look for signs indicating Kaiyohaku Park. As you approach Motobu, turn onto Route 449, which will lead you directly to Kaiyohaku Park. The Dolphin Lagoon is located within the park premises. Parking is available on-site, and it may incur a small fee, so be prepared with some cash.
Public Transportation
To reach Kaiyohaku Park Dolphin Lagoon using public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Oki to Nago Bus Terminal. The bus fare is around 1,000 yen, and the journey may take approximately 1.5 hours. Once at Nago Bus Terminal, transfer to the Motobu line bus, which will take you directly to Motobu. The fare for this leg of the journey is about 500 yen. Disembark at the stop for Kaiyohaku Park. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the Dolphin Lagoon, which is well-signposted.
