Car
If you are driving, head towards the Asakusa area in Taito City, Tokyo. From the Tokyo City center, take Route 4 (Shinjuku Avenue) heading towards the north-east. Continue straight and follow signs for Asakusa. There are parking lots available near the Kaminarimon, but availability may vary. Once you park, walk towards the Kaminarimon, which is one of the main gates leading to the Senso-ji Temple.

Public Transportation
To reach Kaminarimon using public transportation, take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line or the Toei Asakusa Line to Asakusa Station. Once you arrive at Asakusa Station, use Exit 1 or 2. Upon exiting, you will see the Kaminarimon gate straight ahead. If you are coming from other areas in Tokyo, you can also take a JR train to Ueno Station and transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to reach Asakusa Station.
