Getting There

Car
If you're driving from the main town in Oki, head southwest on Route 9 towards the Oki Road. Continue on this route for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to the mainland and drive towards Osaka. Follow signs for Umeda and look for the Umeda Sky Building. There is parking available near the building, but be prepared for parking fees, which can vary.

Public Transportation
From any location in Oki, take a local bus to the Oki Ferry Terminal. Board the ferry to the mainland, which usually takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the mainland, use the train system to travel to Osaka Station. From Osaka Station, transfer to the Osaka Metro and take the Midosuji Line towards Senri-Chuo. Get off at Umeda Station and follow the signs to the Umeda Sky Building. The observatory is located on the top floors of the building, and tickets can be purchased on-site for approximately 1,500 yen.

After crossing to the mainland, you can also hire a taxi directly to the Umeda Sky Building in Osaka.
