Car

From anywhere in Oki, head towards the nearest ferry terminal and take a ferry to the main island of Honshu. Once you arrive at Honshu, follow the signs for Highway 9 towards Taito City. After approximately 1.5 hours, merge onto Route 50. Continue until you reach Ueno Park. The Ueno Zoological Gardens is located at 9-83 Uenokoen, right within Ueno Park.
Public Transportation

Take a local bus or taxi to the nearest ferry terminal in Oki. Board a ferry that heads to Honshu, specifically to the port of Shimonoseki. Once you arrive, head to Shimonoseki Station and take the Sanyo Shinkansen (bullet train) to Tokyo. Upon arriving at Tokyo Station, transfer to the Yamanote Line and get off at Ueno Station. From Ueno Station, follow the signs to Ueno Park; the Ueno Zoological Gardens is located at 9-83 Uenokoen, within walking distance from the park.
