Bus
To reach Igei Service Area (lower), start by locating the nearest bus stop in your area. Take the Okinawa Bus or Naha Bus that heads towards Nago or the northern regions of Okinawa. Ensure to get on a bus that stops at the Igei Service Area or any nearby stop. The journey may take approximately 1 to 2 hours depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at the Igei Service Area bus stop, walk towards the main entrance of the rest area, where you can find food and rest facilities.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. Simply hail a taxi from your current location. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Igei Service Area' (in Japanese: イゲイサービスエリア). The drive will take around 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your starting point and traffic conditions. Taxis are available throughout Okinawa, and this option is convenient if you are traveling in a group or with luggage.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in Kin or have already reached the vicinity of the Igei Service Area, you can walk there. From the center of Kin, head towards Route 331. Follow the road signs to the Igei Service Area, which is located at 1261 Igei. It is approximately a 20-30 minute walk from the town center, depending on your pace.
