Getting There

• Ferry

  To reach Tokashiki Island from the main island of Okinawa, you will need to take a ferry from Naha. First, make your way to the Naha Port, which can be reached via the Yui Rail. Board the Yui Rail at any station and travel to Miebashi Station. From Miebashi Station, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Naha Port. Once at the port, purchase your ferry ticket to Tokashiki Island. Ferries typically run several times a day, so check the schedule in advance. The ferry ride will take approximately 35-50 minutes, depending on the service. Upon arrival at Tokashiki Island, you will be greeted by beautiful beaches and scenic views.

• Public Bus

  If you are starting from Naha, you can also take a public bus to reach the ferry terminal. From your location in Naha, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus that goes to Naha Port (look for buses heading towards Tomari Port). The bus ride will take around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Naha Port, buy a ferry ticket to Tokashiki Island and board the ferry. After a short journey of 35-50 minutes, you will arrive on Tokashiki Island.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Naha to Naha Port. Just tell the driver you are going to Naha Port for the Tokashiki Island ferry. The taxi ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once at the port, purchase your ferry ticket and board the ferry to Tokashiki Island. The ferry trip lasts around 35-50 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views as you approach the island.
