Sacred Peak and Scenic View Hieizan Enryaku ji and Hiyoshi Shrine
A serene and meaningful Kyoto experience
This tour was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our time in Kyoto. Visiting Mount Hiei and Enryaku-ji felt incredibly peaceful and spiritual, with breathtaking scenic views along the way. The atmosphere was calm and refreshing, a perfect escape from the busier tourist spots. Hiyoshi Shrine was equally impressive, with its beautiful architecture and tranquil surroundings. The guide, Justin was knowledgeable and shared insightful explanations about the history, culture, and religious significance of the sites, which really deepened our appreciation of the experience. Everything was well organized, the pace was comfortable, and we never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore a quieter, more reflective side of Kyoto while learning about its rich spiritual heritage.

Hidden jem adventure
Amazing private walking tour through historic temples and shrines in the wilderness of Mount Hiei. Our guide - Yurio - was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions about history and culture, helped with translation at souvenir shops, and was just a delight to spend time with. If you are into original experience off of the beaten tourist path - I recommend this tour!
