Walking
If you are already in the Dotonbori area, Dotonbori Bridge is easily accessible on foot. Head towards the Dotonbori Canal and locate the famous Glico Man sign. Walk along the canal, and you will see Dotonbori Bridge ahead. There is no cost for walking.
Public Transport
The nearest station to Dotonbori Bridge is Namba Station. From Namba Station, walk north towards Shinsaibashi. The Dotonbori River divides Shinsaibashi and Namba, and Dotonbori Bridge is the convergence point for both neighborhoods. Alternatively, from Namba Station, take the Sakaisuji Line towards Sakai and get off at Nippombashi Station. Exit from Exit 1, and walk straight, crossing the bridge over the Dotonbori Canal. The metro fare is approximately ¥230.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Osaka. The standard fare is ¥600 for the first 1.3 km, and ¥384.62 for each additional kilometer. A short taxi ride from Osaka Station to Dotonbori Bridge will take approximately 4 minutes and cost between ¥1900 and ¥2700. Note that the fare may increase when the taxi is stuck in traffic.
