Public Transport

Alternatively, take the Chuo or Tanimachi subway lines to Tanimachi Yonchome Station. From any of these stations, it's a short walk to the park entrance. Subway fares from Umeda to Tanimachi 4-chome are around ¥240.

From Tanimachi Yonchome Station, the recommended approach to Osaka Castle is through the Otemon Gate at the park's southwestern corner. Follow the signs and walk east for about 15-20 minutes. The route is mostly flat and offers views of the castle moats and walls.
