Getting There

Train
If you are in central Osaka, start by heading to Osaka Station. From there, take the JR Loop Line (also known as the Osaka Loop Line) in the direction of Tennoji. Get off at Osaka Tenmangu Station, which is about a 10-minute ride. After exiting the station, follow the signs to the Sakuranomiya Park, which is just a 5-minute walk from the station. Head south along the river, and you will find Sakuranomiya Beach within Osaka Waterfront Park.

Subway and Walk
If you are closer to Namba, take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line from Namba Station to Umeda Station. Then transfer to the JR Loop Line at Osaka Station. Follow the same directions as above, taking the JR Loop Line to Osaka Tenmangu Station and walking south to Sakuranomiya Beach.
