Car
If you're driving, start by entering the expressway towards Osaka. Use the Hanshin Expressway route and take the exit towards Osaka Castle (Osakajo). Once you exit, follow the signs towards Osaka Castle. Hokoku Shrine is located within the grounds of Osaka Castle Park at 2-1 Osakajo, Chuo Ward, Osaka. There is parking available at the Osaka Castle Park, but be prepared to pay a parking fee which can range from 500 to 1,000 yen depending on the duration of your stay.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take the Osaka Metro (Subway) to Tanimachi 4-chome Station. From the station, take Exit 1B and walk towards Osaka Castle which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs directing you to Osaka Castle Park. Once you reach the park, you can find Hokoku Shrine within the premises. Note that train fares from Settsu to Tanimachi 4-chome are typically around 300 yen.
