Discover more about Solaniwa Onsen

Solaniwa Onsen, located in the Osaka Bay Tower, offers a unique and immersive hot spring experience. Opened in February 2019, this onsen theme park is designed to transport guests back to the Azuchi-Momoyama period (1573-1603), a time of political unification and vibrant culture in Japan. Spanning over 16,500 square meters, Solaniwa Onsen combines traditional Japanese concepts with modern designs, offering relaxation, beauty, and culinary delights. Visitors can explore a meticulously recreated town from the Azuchi-Momoyama era, complete with traditional buildings and a lively atmosphere. The onsen boasts nine different types of baths, including open-air baths, garden-view baths, and carbonated spring baths, all utilizing natural hot spring water drawn from 1,000 meters underground. The water is known as "Beautiful Hada no Yu" for its skin-rejuvenating properties. In addition to the baths, guests can relax in saunas and enjoy traditional Japanese body care services. A highlight of Solaniwa Onsen is the 3,000-square-meter rooftop garden, Tenku Garden, featuring seasonal flora, a pond, and a thousand torii gates leading to the Benten shrine. Visitors can stroll through the garden in yukatas (light cotton kimonos) and enjoy footbaths while admiring the scenery. The garden offers a tranquil escape with a panoramic view of Osaka. Solaniwa Onsen also offers a variety of entertainment options, including traditional street stall games, live performances, and an arcade. Guests can dress up in ninja or princess costumes inspired by the Azuchi-Momoyama period. For those seeking a private experience, family baths with small gardens are available for rent.
