Train
To reach Aigawa Dam from central Osaka, start by taking the Osaka Metro to Umeda Station. From Umeda, transfer to the Hankyu Takarazuka Line and ride the train towards Takarazuka. Disembark at the Ibaraki Station. Upon exiting the station, take the East Exit. You can either walk or take a local bus to get closer to Aigawa Dam. Walking will take approximately 30-40 minutes, so if you prefer, catch a bus from the station that heads towards Daimonji. Confirm the bus route and schedule at the station.
Bus
From Ibaraki Station, you can also take a direct bus to Aigawa Dam. Look for the bus stop outside the East Exit of Ibaraki Station. Board the bus that is headed for Daimonji, which will take you closer to the dam. Make sure to check the timetable for the bus as it may not run frequently. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes.
Walking
If you prefer walking from Ibaraki Station, exit through the East Exit and head southeast towards the main road. Follow the road signs directing you to Daimonji. The route will take you through a residential area and some green spaces, making it a pleasant walk. It should take about 30-40 minutes on foot. Keep an eye out for any local shops or cafes along the way if you want to take a break.
