From Ryotsu Port, take Route 350 towards Sado's central region. After about 30 minutes, turn onto Route 402 and continue for approximately 20 minutes until you reach Yamada. Otowaike Pond is located within Yamada, with signs directing you. Parking is limited.

From Ryotsu Port, take a bus towards the Osado Skyline. Get off at a stop near Odaira Highland. From there, follow the signs and walk approximately 600 meters along the trail to Otowaike Pond. Bus fares range from ¥210 to ¥840 depending on the distance. A one-day bus pass is available for ¥1,500.
