If you are driving to the Sado History Museum, begin by using Route 350. From any location in Sado, follow the signs for Mano. The museum is located at 655 Mano, Sado, Niigata 952-0313. Look for parking near the museum, which is available on-site. The museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please note that if you are coming from the ferry terminal, it will take approximately 30 minutes to reach the museum by car.

To reach the Sado History Museum using public transportation, first locate your nearest bus stop for the Sado Kotsu bus service. Board a bus heading towards Mano. The bus ride will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mano bus stop, the museum is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the main road (Mano Street) to the museum, which will be on your right at 655 Mano. The bus fare is approximately 500 yen. Check the latest bus schedule as it may vary.
