Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Gora Station (approx. 35 minutes). Transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car to Sounzan Station (approx. 10 minutes). The Hakone Free Pass covers both the train and cable car. Without the Free Pass, expect to pay around ¥800 for the Hakone Tozan Railway and ¥420 for the Cable Car.

    From Gora Station, a taxi to Sounzan Station takes approximately 5 minutes and costs around ¥2,400 - ¥2,900. Taxis are readily available at Gora Station.
