Public Transport
From Misakiguchi Station (Keikyu Line), take the Keikyu bus bound for Jōgashima. The bus stops at Misakiko (Misaki Port), Hakushuhi-mae (eastern side of Jōgashima), and Jōgashima (terminal on the western side). The fare to Jōgashima is approximately ¥400, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Alternatively, from Misaki Port, take the Jōgashima Ferry “Sanshiro” to the island for ¥500 (adults) or ¥300 (children).
Walking
From the Jōgashima bus terminal, most attractions are within walking distance. The Jōgashima Lighthouse is a short walk uphill from the bus stop. To reach Jōgashima Park and Awasaki Lighthouse, walk east along the coastal road or follow the hiking trails. Note that some trails may involve uneven terrain.
Ferry
A local ferry connects J's Fishing on the western end of Jogashima to Urari Market in Misaki Port on the mainland. The one way journey takes about five minutes and costs 500 yen.
