Car
From Sanuki, take Route 11 heading towards Takamatsu. Continue on Route 11 for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction with Route 32. Take Route 32 towards Otsuki. After about 60 km, follow the signs for Saruhashi, which will lead you to Saruhashimachi in Otsuki, Yamanashi Prefecture. The Saruhashi Bridge is located at latitude 35.6157453 and longitude 138.9802273. There are parking facilities nearby, but check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
Start at Sanuki Station and board a train on the JR Yosan Line towards Takamatsu. Transfer at Takamatsu Station to the JR Shikoku Line and take a train towards Okayama. Get off at Otsuki Station. From there, you can take a local bus towards Saruhashi or use a taxi for the final leg of your journey, which is about a 15-minute ride. The bus may have a small fare, typically around 200-400 yen. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited.
