Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto Route 11 from the center of Sanuki. Follow the signs towards Takamatsu. The drive will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Takamatsu, look for signs for Ritsurin Garden, which is located at 1-chome-20-16 Ritsurincho. There is parking available near the garden, but it's advisable to arrive early during peak seasons to secure a spot. Parking fees may apply, so be prepared with cash.

  To reach Ritsurin Garden by public transportation, head to the nearest train station in Sanuki. Take a train on the JR Line towards Takamatsu. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
