Getting There

  • Public Transport

    The most convenient way to reach Sapporo Dome is via the Sapporo Municipal Subway Toho Line. Take the Toho Line to Fukuzumi Station. From Sapporo Station, the ride to Fukuzumi Station takes about 15 minutes. From Fukuzumi Station, take Exit 3, which connects directly to the Fukuzumi Bus Terminal. Follow Route 36 towards Kitahiroshima and Chitose; the Dome is about a 10-minute walk. Subway fare from Sapporo Station to Fukuzumi Station is approximately ¥290.

  • Bus

    Direct buses to Sapporo Dome are available from various locations in Sapporo. From Sapporo Station, several bus routes will take you to the Dome. Look for buses bound for 福住 (Fukuzumi). From New Chitose Airport, take an airport bus bound for Sapporo City Center; some buses stop directly at Sapporo Dome. The bus fare from the airport is ¥1,100 for adults and ¥550 for children. Bus fares from Sapporo Station to Sapporo Dome range from ¥230-¥350.

    Taxis are readily available throughout Sapporo. A taxi from Sapporo Station to Sapporo Dome takes about 7 minutes, covering approximately 8 km. The estimated taxi fare is between ¥3,000 and ¥3,700. Taxi fares in Sapporo start at ¥670 for the first 1,463 meters, with an additional ¥80 for every 276 meters thereafter. Note that a 20% surcharge applies between 10 PM and 5 AM.
