Start your journey from Sapporo Station. Take the Sapporo Municipal Subway Namboku Line (Green Line) in the direction of Makomanai Station. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at Makomanai Station. From there, transfer to the Chuo Bus (No. 88 or 101) towards Jozankei Onsen. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Stay alert for the 'Jozankei Onsen' stop, which is the closest stop to Hōheikyō Hot Spring. After getting off the bus, you will see a sign directing you to Hōheikyō Hot Spring, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

From Sapporo Station, head to the Sapporo Bus Terminal located adjacent to the station. Look for the Chuo Bus ticket counter and purchase a ticket to 'Jozankei Onsen' (the bus may be labeled as 'Jozankei Onsen'). The journey takes around 60 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the Jozankei Onsen area. From the bus stop, follow the signs to Hōheikyō Hot Spring, which is a short 10-minute walk away.
