Bus
From Sapporo Station, head to the bus terminal located on the north side of the station. Look for the 'Jōzankei Onsen' bus stop. Take the Jōzankei Bus (No. 1) which runs approximately every 30 minutes. The bus will take you through beautiful landscapes. Get off at the 'Jōzankei' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to the area where you can explore the hot springs and scenic views.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Sapporo. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Jōzankei' in Minami Ward. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and while it's more expensive than a bus, it offers a comfortable and hassle-free experience.
Subway and Bus
Take the Namboku Line subway from Sapporo Station to Makomanai Station. Transfer to the bus at Makomanai Bus Terminal. Look for the Jōzankei Bus (No. 1) that heads towards Jōzankei Onsen. The bus ride will take about 40-50 minutes, and you'll enjoy scenic views along the way. Disembark at the 'Jōzankei' stop and walk to explore the area.
